Welcome to SnugSense. By using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About SnugSense

SnugSense is a smart control service for Daikin heat pumps. We provide intelligent scheduling and optimisation to improve comfort and energy efficiency.

2. Beta Programme

SnugSense is currently in beta. This means:

• The service is provided “as is” for testing purposes
• Features may change, be added, or removed
• Service availability is not guaranteed
• We appreciate your feedback to help improve the product

3. Account Requirements

To use SnugSense, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a compatible Daikin heat pump with ONECTA connectivity
• Provide accurate account information
• Keep your login credentials secure

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to access systems or data without authorisation
• Interfere with the service’s operation
• Reverse engineer or decompile our software
• Share your account with others

5. Daikin Integration

SnugSense connects to your Daikin system via the official ONECTA API. By using SnugSense, you:

• Authorise us to access your Daikin account on your behalf
• Acknowledge that heat pump control is subject to Daikin’s systems and availability
• Accept that SnugSense is not affiliated with Daikin Industries

6. Limitation of Liability

Important: SnugSense controls heating equipment. While we take great care to ensure safe operation:

• We are not responsible for damage caused by equipment malfunction
• We do not guarantee energy savings or comfort levels
• You remain responsible for your heating system’s maintenance
• We recommend keeping manual controls available as backup

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnugSense shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee:

• 100% uptime or availability
• Uninterrupted access during maintenance
• Compatibility with future Daikin API changes

8. Intellectual Property

The SnugSense service, including its algorithms, software, and design, is owned by Version Prime Ltd. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our service.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

We may terminate or suspend your account if you:

• Violate these terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse the service or other users

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
